JARGALANT SALBAR. In October 1968, Jamsranjav, Bibish and Kamkov, a Soviet specialist, installed the first voltage at the 35/10 kV Jargalant substation and connected it to the central network of Mongolia. In 1994, it became the Jargalant part of the Zuunkharaa branch and distributed electricity to more than 1,200 households and more than 80 enterprises in Buural, Uguumur, Bayanbulag and Zagdal baghs of Jargalant soum.
The Jargalant branch was established on September 1, 2004 by separating 5 parts of Zuunkharaa branch from Tuv aimag and has 3 UVs and 35 employees in Jargalant, Bornuur, Ugtaal, Tseel and Zaamar soums of Tuv aimag. In charge of operation and maintenance of 4 lines of 35 / 0.4 kV, 30 substations of 10 / 0.4 kV, 196 km of 35 kV, 170 km of 10 kV, 25 km of 0.4 kV to supply electricity to more than In March 2006, we started to supply electricity to more than 600 consumers in Khailaast bagh, Zaamar soum.
Today, the Jargalant branch provides electricity to more than 3,800 consumers in Bornuur, Jargalant, Ugtaal, Tseel and Zaamar soums of Tuv aimag. Responsible for the maintenance and operation of 207.3 km of 35 kV overhead transmission lines, 170.2 km of 10 kV overhead transmission lines, 3.7 km of cable lines, and 87 km of 0.4 kV overhead lines.
Within the framework of the 55th anniversary in 2020, a new 25 km long 35 kV transmission line is being built in order to prepare Zaamar, Tseel, Ugtaal and Jargalant soums of Tuv aimag.
